| POLK COUNTY SNOWMOBILE  LAST UPDATED Monday 2:00 PM 3/10/08 Keeping checking back for new updates AS OF MONDAY 2:00PM on March 10th 2008 The POLK COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS AREA CLOSED Warm weather could hit us middle week temps in the 40 to 50's at this time it will take at least a 6 inch snowfall before Polk trails to open. On a upper note this season polk county trails are been open more days than in in past years Trails opened for decemeber 15th than closed for all of january But open again the first of feb and claose march 10th. Not to bad considering past years we have only been able to keep trails open 1 to 3 weeks per year over the last 10 years? see you all next season State of wisconsin Trail Closure is Midnight March 31st Unless we receive more snow here there will be no more updates or trail reports for this season. Looking forward to the 09 snowmobileing season The amery snowmobile club has added over 1000 new trail signs this year and all trails are Clearly marked! Please stay on the trails we have marked!!! New maps are now out in several Local Business in Amery. Tac 2, Bp Gas, Conoco Station Ericson's,Shore view,
